ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Tom Faught with large Ceramic Vessel

Born in 1946, Tom began his ceramics career early when he was only eleven. After informing his parents that he wanted to be an artist, he came to rely on his gift during college when he created half his pieces for class and half for commercial sale. From there, exhibitions began, and his life as an artist was underway. He established the Russian River Studio in 1968 in California, and in 1973, Tom established his current studio and foundry on Maui. From his Maui studio he has embarked on creating his unique style -- Boldness. Tom not only accents a space in a locale, he creates it.
